Dive with Manta Rays in Ticao - Whale sharks Donsol, Philippines


		THE MANTA BOWL The Philippine’s newest and most exciting dive destination of the decade. Swim and dive with the world’s largest fishes. The Manta Bowl is an underwater seamount in the middle of an active channel where divers recently discovered schooling Giant Pacific Manta Rays. A pelagic alley where the rare Tresher Shark and big Hammerheads sometimes come to visit.

	WHALE SHARKS OF DONSOL The once sleepy town of Donsol, Sorsogon in the Bicol Region has now been transformed into the Tourist Capital of the Philippines with the presence of the Whale Sharks. These gentle giants abound the waters of the bay of when feeding season comes and plankton is thick and rich in the waters. Swimming with these giants will be a treasured lifetime experience.

		MACRO DIVING A pleasant surprise was recently discovered off the bay of Donsol. Where the giant Whale sharks roam is unexpectedly a treasure trove of Macro Critters. Photography enthusiasts will marvel at the rare Hairy Frogfish which is as common as the famed Dilis ( pandaka pygmea ) that comes to this shallow waters. Also spotted by experts were the Wonderpus, Pygmy Seahorse, Weedy sea devils, a collection of rare nudibranchs and slugs plus a lot more waiting to be discovered. Macro Photography is also good in the nearby San Miguel islands.

	TECHNICAL DIVING The pet project of Adventure Bound dive team, which is known in the country as one of the premier technical dive centers. bicol is slowly making waves in the local technical diving circuit as the newest tech dive destination in the Philippines. Dives range from moderate commercial wrecks to deep historical wrecks plus the widest stretch of deep technical walls which is called the Abyss.
